Past Vs Present: From Schiaparelli to Kenzo

schiaparelli-lanvin copyschiaparelli-lanvin2   From the Pagan Collection of Schiaparelli in 1938 to Lanvin Fall winter 2013-14 show we’re literally invaded by every kind of bugs, even this super glamour version. This fashion invasion spread out even in the surrealism area of the art magazine ToiletPaper that dedicated to Kenzo a colored “bugs pattern” for 2014 campaign. Even though Kenzo and ToiletPaper aren’t a new to collaborates as we can see in the 2013 advertise of the brand where there was a reinterpretation of the Hang Nail appeared on ToiletPaper in 2011.

.Eric Cahan.

“My work is meant to capture a moment in nature, asking and empowering the viewer to be fully present, involved, and uplifted.”

This is the ultimate great work by the artist Eric Cahan, based in New York City, who creates these sculpture in order to give life at natural elements through science by using polyester resin to realize them. This serie is called Sky Series and it is totally inspired by sunset, sunrise, science and nature.
